Galben Travel & Business has organised a Fam Trip in an effort to acquaint potential Benelux holiday makers with Majorca’s potential as a Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Events, or MICE, destination.
The trip will take place from the 18th to the 20th of March, three days during which a group of Belgian, Dutch and Luxembourgish companies specialising in tourism and business travel will visit various parts of the island to discover their hidden secrets. The objective is for these companies, specialists in the organisation of corporate events, to include Majorca as a destination for future events.
This Fam Trip for travel agents is promoted by the Maritim International hotel chain, whose Marítim Galatzó Hotel opened its doors for this first time this season. The Hotel Galatzó, Majorca, is the first on the island to be operated by the German Tourism and Business Travel specialists. Located on the Costa de la Calma and boasting spectacular views of the Mediterranean and first class facilities, Hotel Galatzó is far more than just a business and convention hotel.
Out travel agency, which specialises in business and incentive travel and congress and convention organising, has prepared a complete programme of activities for the Fam Trip, with the help and collaboration of Air Berlin.
Highlights of the trip include a visit to La Reserva Puig de Galatzó, a nature park and UNESCO World Heritage site of more than 2.5 million square metres located in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains, a stroll around the Son Bosch estate, a guided tour of the Santa Catalina winery, or a visit to the spectacular Son Marroig estate and Miramar monastery, two examples of Majorcan holdings that are classified as Cultural Heritage Sites.
Other activities include meetings with a number of Majorcan MICE service providers in municipalities such as Andratx, Estellencs, Banyalbufar, Valldemossa, Deià, Sóller and Palma, among others.
